The key GPDR issue is: Where is the data stored. It's (since this summer!) ok to store it in the US, but Chatbase then needs to comply with the new Data Privacy Framework. Basically: If your company is on this list, it can store data from the EU https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/s/participant-search

In this case, you would also need a pop-up, where you explicitly confirm your consent to the processing of the data and the data protection declaration in the opt-in procedure. Furthermore, the possibility of an order data processing contract

Thomas Mersch: You don't specifically need it for Chatbase, you can incorporate this in your standard privacy and data processing clausule and or your cookie popup.
